Simultani-Chess

I had an idea for a Chess variant, and figured I'd make it.

Essentially, the idea is to pick your moves, then both moves happen at the same time.
The same ideas can be done IRL with 2 pieces of paper, but may take longer.

------------| ADDED RULES |------------

• On Se Couche - If you move your piece into a space that a rival piece had moved out of, in the same turn, your piece is locked for 1 Turn.
  (Locked pieces can't be moved)

• Bon Chat, Bon Rat - If 2 pieces move into the same space, they both lose.

• There is no Castling or En Passant.

• The King doesn't need to move if in Check. (Which means there's no Checkmate)

• Pawns transform into Queens when they reach the other side.

The idea is that the board is split into 4 sections, then those sections are split into 4 more, then those into 4 more. (4 x 4 x 4 = 64)

You press a button to select one of the 4 sections (A,B,X,Y).
The buttons on the controller are also in the same direction of each section.

There is no AI. It's purely a PvP game.

If you have only 1 Controller connected, then the first player puts in their Inputs, then Player 2 does. (White then Black)

If you have 2 Controllers, then both can use Inputs at the same time.
